What is an Inquiry on Posticy?
An Inquiry allows Marketers to reverse the traditional marketplace flow.
Instead of selecting websites from a predefined list, Marketers can describe what they are looking for and let qualified Publishers come to them with offers.
This is especially useful when:
- You need specific SEO metrics
- You want to control the maximum budget
- You prefer to review multiple publisher offers before deciding
How to create an Inquiry
After adding a new article to a Project, you have two options:
- Send proposals directly to Publishers from the marketplace at the listed prices
- Create an Inquiry by defining your requirements
When creating an inquiry, you must specify:
- Minimum Domain Authority (DA)
- Minimum Ahrefs Domain Rating (DR)
- Minimum organic traffic according to Ahrefs
- Maximum price you are willing to pay
Once submitted, your inquiry becomes visible to eligible Publishers as an Opportunity.
How Publishers respond to your Inquiry
Only Publishers whose websites meet your required metrics can submit offers.
- The system automatically blocks offers from websites that do not meet your criteria
- Publishers can bid at your maximum price or offer a lower price
This guarantees that all received offers are relevant and within your defined scope.
Reviewing and accepting offers
Submitting an inquiry does not automatically select a Publisher.
- You review all incoming offers
- You choose which offer to accept
- Only accepted offers proceed to publication
You stay fully in control of pricing, quality, and final selection.
Key advantages of using Inquiries
- Saves time by filtering out unqualified websites automatically
- Encourages competitive pricing from Publishers
- Gives you flexibility beyond the fixed marketplace listings
